RoboTux by Colin Adams

The Robotux logo of the girl drawing the robotic penguin is used on the main LinuxChix site. The logos are by Colin Adams and copyright is held by Val Henson.

Attached are Adobe Illustrator, Encapsulated Postscript and SVG versions of Colin Adam's Robotux and other variants. Permission to use these logos must be sought from LinuxChix: please use the contact form.

Anime girl by Dancer Vesperman

This was one of the logos proposed in a 2001 logo contest on the grrltalk mailing list: posted to grrltalk on 8 May 2001 by Jenn Vesperman, title "Logo concept".

It was used as one of the rotating logos on the main LinuxChix site until 2007.

As far as we know, it is copyright Dancer Vesperman all rights reserved.

Linux Chick by Tom B

This was the main logo until 2001. It was designed by a Brazilian artist, Tom B, and was commissioned by the head of LinuxChix at the time, Deb Richardson. It is still used by the Brazilian chapter.

On 28 Mar 2006 in a message titled "Re: OLD old LinuxChix logo and Brazil" to the grrltalk list, Sulamita Garcia claimed that Tom B had stated that it is public domain. However, people should verify this with Tom B themself.

Logo by Annette M. Stroud

This was one of the logos proposed in a 2001 logo contest on the grrltalk mailing list: posted to grrltalk on 8 May 2001 by Annette M. Stroud, title "Something completely different in a logo"

It was used as one of the rotating logos on the main LinuxChix site until 2007.

Ponytailed girl by Val Henson

This was one of the logos proposed in a 2001 logo contest on the grrltalk mailing list: posted to grrltalk on 7 May 2001 by Val Henson, title "Sample logos".

The smoothed version was used as one of the rotating logos on the main LinuxChix site until 2007 and was also used by the Seattle chapter, and re-worked by Colin Adams when he did the Robotux logos.
